I am currently in the ER bc I decided to get eyelash extensions at this place for the first time. My current lady wasn’t available (I know I’m an idiot). It was supposed to be a fill, however she finished in 45 min. This was the first clue bc it should never be that quick. She glued clumps of eyelashes (the clusters you would buy online) underneath my eye on my water line. It was so painful and blurry when I opened my eyes. I told her she needed to take them off immediately. She had another customer so she told me she would take them off after. I sat for one hour in pain. I started pulling them off because it was so painful. She removed all of the lashes and really wanted to make it up by doing them correctly. I told her only if she wouldn’t adhere them to my water line. I told her they must be put on each individual lash and adhered to the lash. She did this the second time. After leaving my eye was so painful, swollen, and red. It was leaking. Later that night, I couldn’t open my eyes without having pain and my vision was cloudy. When I woke up, I rinsed under cold water, used lubricant eye drops, and allergy eyedrops with no relief. I went to urgent care this morning and had to transfer to the ED because I have a change of vision in my right eye. With my brand new 20/20 glasses on, my current vision is 20/70. They just did a fluorescein stain and I have abrasions all on my cornea. They are concerned that the adhesive is still adhered to my eyeball underneath the upper part of my eyelid. The attending doctor had to contact the ophthalmologist to come take a look and figure out what they are going to do. This place should not be allowed to do eyelash extensions. Do not get them done here at all costs. They should be closed down. Eyelash extensions are an art, that’s why they are so expensive. I came here because of the reviews. Don’t leave who you know and if your artist doesn’t have availability, just wait! This is a complete disaster.
